Sunglasses hide bright light from our eyes, but they also hide our eyes from the outside world. With these visors, I embraced the idea of a mask, while challgenging sunglasses' construction and material conventions.

Drafts and models, partly inspired by Oakley’s Over the Top model

I made various prototypes out of paper.

After I figured out the measurements, I built two working prototypes.
These are made from 1.5mm thick PVC sheets on top of which I applied one way mirror foil.
